How to Fall in Love with Yourself

I know this makes me sound all spiritual and new age-y — and I didn’t believe it myself for a very long time.

You might wonder, first of all, why you might need to fall in love with yourself. The answer would be that something or someone made you question whether you were worthy of any love at all, including self love. I can tell you that’s a very empty place to be — so empty that it can be difficult to start over. But never impossible.

Wherever you may find yourself, it’s helpful to remember that at a fundamental level, everyone is deserving of love. At a deeper level, we are all loved and supported by the universe to become the best versions of ourselves in this lifetime. I know this makes me sound all spiritual and new age-y — but in fact, I didn’t believe this for a very long time. I didn’t believe it until I let go and stopped trying to control everything, and I only made the decision to “let go” because what I was doing wasn’t working. Now, I’d like to share some tips that might help you learn to fall in love with yourself, again:

First, “just say no” to the voice in your life, or in your past, telling you that you’re unworthy
