Men Need to Be Responsible for the Behavior of their Gender — It’s Time

As a woman of six decades I’ve observed the behavior of men throughout my life, and I have to say, I’m not impressed. I’m really angry. Men are consistently deemed to be “more in control” of their emotions than women — the weaker sex — and are largely held in higher esteem. Yet men have been wreaking havoc on civilization literally since the dawn of time. I think the behavior of men needs to change, toot suite, and four billion women around the globe would probably agree.

The thing is, men love to defend themselves, and by extension, to defend their gender. But in my humble opinion, men have a long way to go to defend themselves as “the superior sex.” Here are some well-known statistics that should not surprise anybody who has lived on Planet Earth:

Nine out of ten homicides worldwide are committed by male perpetrators. Who are they killing? Mostly other men. Still, most female murder victims lose their lives to their male partners or other male family members. These statistics come from the United Nations global study on homicide.

Mass murder follows a similar pattern. Between 1982 and 2023, 141 mass shootings have been committed by males, and only 4 by females.
