Thank you for responding. I tend to agree with you. I haven't quite figured out what kind of narcissist my ex is, but he's definitely on the narcissistic spectrum. It makes sense. But it was the instant dropping of interest in me that threw me for a loop, and still does. I hate to imagine it, but would not be surprised that he'll drop his wife like a hot potato when he had grandkids to pass on his family line. He's always loved kids, anyway. She won't be able to hold his interest, then. I couldn't either, when our kids were young.
