Dear Sublimus. Thank you for this example of toxic masculinity. I don't know a single woman who wasn't molested as a child by a male, groped by a strange male, stalked by a male, treated to rough sex by a male, inappropriately approached by a male, talked down to by a male, sexually harassed by a male, or raped by a male. Get a grip. The usual response from men is "it must be the people you hang out with." Absolutely untrue. These behaviors are present in every social demographic. And I have lived in ten states, from coast to coast. I grew up in a blue-collar community, attended college, nursing school, and graduate school. Men treating women badly, to put it mildly, is extremely widespread. If you don't believe it, you are willingly shutting your eyes. Or, more likely, placing the blame on women and girls.
