This is a really great comprehensive article! As a nurse, I would add one thing. If you're noticing what you assume are neurological symptoms in an older person, be sure to get their hearing checked. I had several patients in home health or hospice with a diagnosis of "end-stage Alzheimer's Disease," when in fact they were completely deaf, or very hard of hearing and the facility had lost their hearing aids and failed to report the loss to family.
