In doing some browsing on Medium’s most popular articles and SEO tags, I discovered that poetry is right up there at #2, after “Life.” Who knew? I’ve long written poetry as an outlet for my emotions, from awe to gratitude to despair. I write about motherhood, which touched me deeply and informed my life’s choices. But mostly, my poems are inspired by nature, or contain natural elements, not hard to find in my preferred habitat of the western U.S. I think you’ll find that they tell the story of where I came from and where I ended up better than any personal essay I’ve written.

I hope you’ll take a few minutes to browse through the list below and find one that touches you. Read, or listen, and please leave me a comment. I love hearing from my readers. Thanks for listening!
