Very well written and important. Here's my take on the weight thing. I used to be a bean pole, and now I'm curvy. At 128 pounds and 5' 11", I was told by a modeling agency that I would have to lose weight to fit into smaller sizes. At 138, I thought I looked great, and now when I look back at those photos, I think I looked anorexic. At 148, my husband thought I needed to lose weight. At 158-162, I felt strong, healthy, and stable, and I maintained that weight for twelve years. I'm now twenty pounds heavier, and would like to lose it, but I still feel healthy and strong and can do everything I used to do. And in no way do I feel like someone who has gained 50 pounds! The only difference is, no one would look at me now and call me thin. And the amazing thing is that, at every weight, I have worn the same size jeans. I think the most important thing is to be comfortable with your body, and to realize that it changes with age, no matter what you do to try to prevent that.
