We went through a similar experience with one of our sons. Believe me, he didn't want to be living with us any more than we wanted him to be living with us. We just had to wait it out, lay some ground rules. Calmly call him on it when he didn't follow them, and breathe a sigh of relief when he moved out. At 32, he's mature, responsible, helpful, respectful, and soon to graduate with a degree in mental health counseling. Just try not to do anything so drastic that it leaves a permanent scar and cuts off communication. They want so badly to be adults, so let them. Once our son earned enough money, he traveled for six months, and grew up a lot. When he returned, he found his own place, returned to college, and began inviting us over for dinner about once a month. I wish you luck.
